This report is the report of a prospective cross-sectional study of the consumption of medicines, including drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in women. The study was conducted among women ages 21 to 45 years from May to June, 2015. The study was carried out in the outpatient department of the Hospital of Vrije Universiteits, Isfahan, Iran, from May to June, 2015. The women were randomly divided into three groups: the control group, the group that received sildenafil (Viagra, VigR), and the group that received a combination of Vardenafil and Sildenafil. The women in the group that received Vardenafil were diagnosed with ED with a frequency of occurrence of 1.5% to 5.1%. The frequency of the women in the control group was 0.25%. The frequency of the women in the group that received Sildenafil was 0.2%. The frequency of the women in the control group was 0.1%. The frequencies of women in the two groups were 1.5% and 1.4%. The study showed that women who were treated with ED drugs were less likely to have ED than those who were not treated.
